LOGO CONCEPT & DESIGN
Lakeside Innovations is a home improvement startup company located in cottage country near one of Ontario's Great Lakes. Smart-Ink came up with a strategic concept which accurately represents these two unique defining features of the company. The icon of the logo represents a wooden gable in the negative space, and a sailboat in the inverted space. The logo is crisp and extremely simple, yet packed with meaning. This logo is versatile across many applications for print and digital media and can be used as a wordmark or a stand-alone icon.
BUSINESS CARD DESIGN & PRINT
Building on Lakeside Innovations new brand, Smart-Ink designed a business card to showcase the potential of the brand as part of the business startup package. The front has all contact information laid out in an organized manner, with the icon adding an accent in the bottom right side of the card. The backside has a rustic wooden texture as the background, showcasing the strength of the icon on its own.
